Expedition Luggage and Accessories
Initial Situation
Existing Cargon collection: outdated design, declining sales. Nevertheless, a growing market for travel luggage post-pandemic; travel is an essential component of most outdoor sports.
Goal
A durable and spacious duffel and luggage collection that withstands even the most remote expeditions.
The collection includes:

Duffel bag series (product update of the Cargon)

Softcase trolley (based on the duffel bag)

Concept and Form Sketch
The bottom of the bag is designed to protect against moisture not only when used as a duffel bag, but also when carried as a backpack and set down on the ground.
Details
A durable bag reduced to its essential features: technical, sporty-looking, weather-resistant, functional, and comfortable.
Labelling Options
The challenge was that we wanted to use the same print across the entire collection. It had to work just as well for the smallest packing cube as for a 140-litre bag.
Testing the Labelling
Paper printouts placed on the product convey an impression of composition and impact.
Material
The outer material of the bag consists of a recycled, modern 15 mm ripstop fabric with a 900 D density. The 1000 D base material is coated on both sides, allowing the base sections to be welded for added waterproofness.
Final Labelling
The final print highlights the size of the product. Product name, technical specifications, and branding ensure a subtle, technical look.
Packing Cube Variations
The Cargo collection is complemented by packing cubes. These cubes are designed to cover every need: organisation, keeping clothes dry, airing dirty laundry, saving weight, and protecting electronics.
Packing Cube System
For optimal internal organisation, three different sizes of packing cubes can be combined in every imaginable way to fit as many shapes and volume capacities as possible.
The bright white cubes are easy to find inside dark luggage, while the translucent material allows you to see the contents without opening them.
